County Durham Foundation Grants Funds
Community activities based in Chester-le-Street, Derwentside, Durham City, Easington, Sedgefield, Teesdale, Wear Valley and Darlington (This covers over 70 different funds).

Grassroots Grants
Supporting small informal voluntary and community groups and organisations with evidenced income of less than £20,000 per annum. Funding can be used for capital or revenue purposes.

Darlington Champions Grants Fund
Grants to community and voluntary organisations that are charitable, educational, philanthropic or benevolent in purpose. You do not have to be a registered charity. Most successful applications are from user-led, self-help projects that can show real community support and demonstrable benefits.

The Banks Group Community Funds
Community projects including reduction or prevention of pollution, providing and maintaining public amenities/parks, protection of the environment, restoring/repairing buildings of architectural/historic interest or those used for religious worship. Funds selected areas outside of County Durham and includes Windfarms Fund.

The Tony Blair Sports Foundation
Inspiring adults to become trained sports coaches.

The Esh Charitable Trust
Community and voluntary organisations with user-led, self-help projects from across the North East.
